Fremont Adventure Recreation is proud and excited to announce the Royal Gorge Region's first ever mountain bike race - The Royal 50. This epic ride, which will take place on the newest jewel in Cañon City's crown - the Royal Gorge Park Trails - takes you across singletrack trails that offer flowy fun and technical challenges.

Schedule of Events
Friday, September 21
5:00-7:00 pm - Packet pickup at the Fremont Center for the Arts in downtown Cañon City.
Saturday, September 22
6:30 a.m. Packet Pickup begins for riders at the Visitor's Center
7:45 a.m. Packet Pickup ends
7:50 a.m. Riders are allowed to line up on the Bridge
8:00 a.m. Ceremonial start at the Bridge for 20- and 50-mile riders
11:00 a.m. Lunch / Beer service begins
1:30 pm 3rd-lap cutoff for Royal 50 riders
4:00 p.m. Course cuttoff - all riders off the course
5:00 p.m. Beer service ends
7:00 p.m. Event Ends
The Royal Gorge Park Trails are located just outside of the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. Your ceremonial start and finish is located on the bridge itself, and you'll be treated to a post-ride festival within the park grounds. Spectators, family members, and friends will be invited to purchase a discounted park ticket.
Please bring your printed / online confirmation email and ID with you to the ticket window.
